StLouisArts.org is powered by the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RACSTL), a nonprofit and the largest public funder of the arts in St. Louis. The organization’s top priority is supporting the diverse collective of artists and arts organizations that make St. Louis’ extraordinary arts and culture community so vibrant. Since its beginning in 1985, RACSTL have provided more than 7,200 grants totaling over $120 million. The organization is more than a funder. They are a passionate advocate, a true partner, and a leading catalyst for positive change in the arts and culture sector.
In a recent survey, people who live outside St. Louis were asked about the main reason for their visit to the region. Four out of every five people said it was because of the arts. Recognizing the need for a comprehensive resource to help visitors explore the extraordinary breadth and depth of arts experiences available to them during their stay, RACSTL created this website. StLouisArts.org is a central hub that highlights artists, arts organizations, venues and more, giving creatives – from the up-and-coming to the well-established – an opportunity to share their work with the world.
