People Magazine announced the top music festivals in the U.S. throughout the summer of 2024, and St. Louis is on the list. Music at the Intersection is listed alongside some of the biggest festivals in music, such as Coachella and Bonnaroo (as it should be).
Music at the Intersection is hosted in the Grand Center Arts District and will be on Sept. 14-15. Across four stages, 50+ artists will be featured, including Black Pumas, Big Boi, Lettuce, Chingy, Chaka Khan and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
On its fourth festival, Music at the Intersection has been getting a lot of local and national attention. IndyStar mentions featured artists are “tied to St. Louis by musical genre or are from the Caribbean, Mississippi Delta and sister river cities, from which St. Louis shares music and cultural roots” with the festival highlighting genres such as funk, jazz, hip hop and blues.
