The St. Louis Shakes offers the St. Louis region free, accessible theatre and fosters community and joy through Shakespearean tradition of art for all. Each year they produce 250 public performances and draw in huge crowds. The festival is recognized as an arts and culture leader of the region and has received numerous awards including “Best Theatre Company,” “Most Innovative Arts Organization,” and Exemplary Community Achievement from the Missouri Humanities Council.
