ABOUT CORI TEER

I am the proud owner of Teer Painting Services, a painting company based in the vibrant St. Louis metropolitan area. For over two decades, I have had the privilege of bringing color and life to countless interior and exterior spaces, both residential and commercial, through my passion for painting.

Throughout the years, my journey as an artist has been incredibly fulfilling. Not only have I had the opportunity to work on multiple commissioned murals and canvas artwork, but I have also dedicated my time and skills to giving back to the community through numerous pro bono projects for the less fortunate. It brings me great joy to use my talents to make a positive impact and brighten the homes of those in need.

One of the most rewarding experiences in my career has been collaborating with the esteemed local paint crew, Operation Urban Renewal (O.U.R.), on projects presented by Artist First and Paint Louis. These collaborations have allowed me to contribute to the beautification of our community in meaningful ways and work alongside incredibly talented individuals who share my passion for art and community enrichment.

Over the years, I have been privileged to work with a variety of well-known companies in the St. Louis area, such as Prasino, Bogarts, Pappys, Crete Doc, and many more. Each project has presented unique challenges and opportunities for creativity, further fueling my artistic growth and allowing me to explore different styles and techniques. As an artist of many trades, my creative journey extends beyond painting. From my early beginnings creating dioramas at the age of 10, I have delved into various art forms, including drawing, realism, sculpting, abstract painting, comics, design, Epoxy Resin art, and even home restoration. This diverse range of skills has enriched my artistic expression and enabled me to bring a unique perspective to every project I undertake.

In my spare time, I am constantly building and creating, seeking inspiration in the world around me and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. Art is not just my profession; it is my life’s passion, and I am grateful for every opportunity to share my art with others and make a positive impact through my work. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and my journey as an artist and business owner. I look forward to continuing to create, inspire, and contribute to the beauty of our community for many years to come.

ABOUT ADAM SHERMAN

Adam Sherman is a professional woodworker as well as a professional aerosol artist, mural painter and designer. As owner and proprietor of locally based company Graffiti Woodworks and partner in locally based mural team O.U.R he has satisfied a wide variety of commission-based works both locally and nationally. You may have even seen some of his works at local restaurants like Seoul Taco, Coffee Culture, and Puttshack at the City Foundry STL (just to name a few) as well as some commercial businesses around town, such as Fairway Automotive, Oddball Ink, Legacy detailer, and The Graffiti Loft. The list goes on. As an 80’s kid, like most who picked up the spray can, the style, vibrant colors as well as the mystery of graffiti lettering on the street demanded his attention

After years of writing and doing hundreds of tags, pieces, burners and blackbooks, his style improved. As he got older, he wanted more from the art form than just writing on the street. He gravitated more towards doing bigger works and more complex murals. He would partner with two other artists, Justin Dirks and Myles Keough, in 2012 to form a mural and art installation company called O.U.R or Operation Urban Renewal. The idea behind the company was to beautify the places that had been trashed with what he considered substandard graffiti with no thought or style. For over a decade now the team has created a wide-ranging portfolio from restaurants, food trucks, businesses and even a three-story tugboat on the Mississippi River. Adam does his own independent murals, pieces, commissions and whatever else may land on his desk under his own business, Graffiti Woodworks.
