Travel Writer Says St. Louis Has “No Shortage of Entertainment Venues and Fun”

Senior writer at the travel publication, GoNOMAD, Bruce Northam has traveled all over, visiting places all across the globe. His recent destination? St. Louis, MO. He notes that St. Louis connects “history with hip” to create a fully dynamic experience for visitors and locals alike.

Northam mentions that along with blues and baseball, the city also boasts a “staggering number of entertainment venues.”

Though Northam was in town to attend the Laz Jazz Fest at the Big Top, he also visited a variety of other arts and culture venues during his trip. He stopped by the Grand Center Arts District and toured the murals at the Walls Off Washington, ending the day by grabbing a cocktail at Sophie’s Artists Lounge.

Northan also lists tons of other St. Louis neighborhoods full of arts and music venues –– The Grove, Central West End, Downtown, Soulard and Forest Park. He notes that in each area you can find distinct kinds of live music and art, along with tourist musts like The Gateway Arch.
