Edison serves as a teaching facility for the Washington University Performing Arts Department.

Providing acting and directorial experience for up-and-coming actors and directors, this theater group – under the umbrella of Encore STL – treats audiences to unique and engaging performances.

ERA is an experimental theatre company based in St. Louis, Missouri. Theatre is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, live art form. ERA's mission is to use the elements unique to theatre's identity to expand the possibilities for what that art form can be and challenge our community's expectations for meaning in theatre, art, and the world. First Run Theatre provides a vehicle for regional playwrights to produce original, unpublished, never-produced works.

Hawthorne Players is one of the oldest theatre companies in the St. Louis area. Today, the group produces three plays a year in the Florissant Civic Center Theatre, frequently selling out the 567-seat auditorium.

Since the inception of the company, the work of Karlovsky & Company Dance has been commissioned internationally with tours to France and South Africa, and nationally presenting in New York City, Minneapolis and Duluth MN, Tulsa, and San Francisco-Bay Area. Karlovsky & Company Dance aspires to connect with audiences through the art of dance, and to provide an experience for the viewer that evokes personal reflection.

Kinetic Tapestry performs original theatrical circus shows as well as provides unique entertainment for organizations, events and festivals. They have performed at venues such as Busch Stadium, The St. Louis Renaissance Festival, the Clay Cooper Theatre in Branson, Mo, JUMP Summer camp and many, many more.
